Cimix.co ("Cimix", "we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the EU GDPR regulation. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data.
2. Main Features of Our Platform
- Users create an account using their personal email address and log in to manage their profile and job applications. - Applications are sent via our official email address (support@cimix.co) to the employer selected by the user. - Cimix has access to data entered by the user (profile, CV, documents, applications), but we do not forward them to employers without the user's explicit decision. - All job listings come from official government sources via open APIs (see section 3).
3. Sources and Open APIs
We use only official government platforms and their open APIs: - Sweden: Arbetsförmedlingen - Norway: NAV - Denmark: Jobnet.dk - Finland: TE-palvelut - Iceland: Vinnumálastofnun We retrieve only listings that have a publicly published employer email address. We do not modify the content of original listings.
4. What Data We Collect
A. Data you provide yourself: name, email, phone (if you enter it), CV, cover letter, documents, work experience, education, profile information. B. Data generated through use: saved listings, sent inquiries, sent applications, messages. C. Technical data: IP address, device, browser type, cookies, access time, activities during site usage.
5. How We Use Your Data
- To create and administer your account. - To enable job applications. - To store and display your CV and documents. - For statistics, security analysis, and improvement of site functionality. - To fulfill legal obligations.
6. Data Retention Period
- Data is stored while your account is active. - Upon account deletion, personal data is deleted within 30 days. - Anonymized technical information and logs may be stored longer for security purposes.
7. Data Sharing
- Your data is not shared with employers without your decision. - Technical partners (hosting, backup, email services) may process data on your behalf under GDPR agreements. - Data may be provided to government authorities when legally required.
8. Role of Cimix
- Cimix acts as a platform (third party) that connects users with available jobs. - The user chooses to whom they send their data and what information they share.
9. Communication Between Employer and Candidate
When a candidate applies for a job through Cimix, the application is sent to the employer on behalf of the candidate. The email is sent from a Cimix address, but the Reply-To is set to the candidate's email address. This means that: - The employer's response goes directly to the candidate. - Cimix does not review or control the content of the communication. - Cimix is not responsible for responses or actions that the employer or candidate take in that communication. - Cimix functions solely as an intermediary in transmitting application information. Metadata and Logging In order for Cimix to be able to track technical problems or questions from candidates, certain metadata may be stored, such as: - Time and date of application - Which job the application relates to - Candidate's email address and other contact information used for the application Cimix does not store the content of communication between the employer and candidate.
10. Data Security
We use the following measures: - HTTPS encryption - Secure servers and restricted access - Regular security maintenance - Backups and protection against unauthorized access
11. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies for: - Login and sessions, - Site functionality, - Statistics and analytics. Users can disable cookies, but certain features may not work then.
