Restaurant Manager with HR Responsibility

We are looking for a restaurant manager for our unit in Uppsala who will manage the restaurant for 75% of their duties. The remaining 25% will be dedicated to an HR role.

Job duties as restaurant manager:

• Lead and distribute the daily work in the restaurant.
• Scheduling
• Maintain structure, pace, and efficiency.
• Be operationally present during high-traffic times.
• Handle all purchasing for the restaurant.
• Monitor daily sales, key figures, and results.
• Be responsible for personnel costs and raw material costs.
• Actively work with waste control and inventory optimization.
• Participate in budget work and work towards set profitability goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop shift leaders and employees.
• Ensure effective communication between the kitchen and service.
• Create a performance-oriented and positive work environment.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and solution-oriented.

Job duties as HR Responsible:

• Participate in and be responsible for recruitment as needed.
• Ensure proper staffing and efficient scheduling.
• Be responsible for the onboarding of new employees.
• Conduct development and follow-up meetings.
• Handle personnel matters and labor law issues.
• Promote a healthy and professional work culture.
• Handle personnel documentation, absence, and vacation administration.
