Leisure-time Activity Leader!

We are looking for a skilled leisure-time activity leader who is passionate about making a difference for students, through experience-based outdoor learning with a focus on outdoor life.

We are a small elementary school with an associated after-school center of about 55 students, operating based on governing documents and using the Out and In methodology. The after-school center consists of an after-school pedagogue and two leisure-time activity leaders. The after-school activities are largely located outdoors in the local area and in our school forest. With us, the school and after-school center work very closely together and also co-plan themes and events. We value and strive for a shared vision in our work with the students throughout the day. We have a high ceiling and support each other, and have a positive attitude towards our work and each other that makes us all thrive and develop. We are proud of our operations and want to give the best to our students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have experience as a leisure-time activity leader. You have a relational leadership style and are confident and secure in your professional role with an ability to create a joyful learning environment. You are positive towards physical activity and are naturally curious about the Out and In methods.

You are well-versed in the curriculum for elementary school and after-school centers. In collaboration with colleagues, you work to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's and after-school center's pedagogical work. Commitment, empathy, and understanding of other people are important qualities. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position is part-time 75% with immediate start. You will work in the school in the mornings and at the after-school center in the afternoons.
