When you work as a general specialist in primary care at Hönö Health Center, you have a key role in the local community and contribute to making Öckerö Municipality a better place for people in all stages of life. We are a private health center with an agreement with the Västra Götaland Region. We work with the goal of offering our patients high accessibility and continuity with high generalist competence. We are about 20 employees who work together to achieve increasingly person-centered and easily accessible care. We are a health center undergoing change and development with a strong focus on interaction, and we prioritize medical quality and patient safety as the highest priority.

In a changing healthcare world, we prioritize based on patient needs and change work methods when we see the need. For example, work is currently underway to develop and improve work methods regarding fixed physician contact, patient-responsible physician. With us, you get the opportunity to help shape the work in our general medicine team. We value professional personal interaction, continuity, accessibility, and long-term commitment. The team consists of experienced nurses, who run their own clinics, receptionist, medical secretary, and assistant nurses who drive and develop our lab and sampling activities.

We wish to strengthen our physician team and are looking for you who are an engaged and flexible specialist in general medicine. Many of Hönö Health Center's patients are elderly, and we have about 150-200 patients in special housing or with municipal primary care. The work tasks with us are varied with physician clinics, drop-in, and supervision of training physicians. You get the opportunity to develop the operations together with other employees and participate in improvement and quality work both at the health center and linked to other care.

We document in the journal system Webdoc. Today, the health center has three specialist physicians, four resident physicians, and one junior physician. The number of listed patients is almost 7000, and we work from a rural perspective as we are located in a municipality consisting of ten different islands. We are close to Gothenburg, making it easy to commute both by car and public transport. Our main operations are located in nice premises on Hönö, and we have a smaller branch on Björkö that is open two days a week.

Who are you? We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Knowledge of Swedish equivalent to C1 is a requirement. A B driver's license is required. You are confident in your professional role. You have an interest in working with many different medical issues within a broad field. You see the continuous, long-term clinic work as the primary means to help patients achieve good health. You enjoy working and taking responsibility in an environment that is varied and under constant development. You can work quickly when needed and make independent decisions. As a person, you are attentive to our patients' needs, and your interaction is professional and humble. You see collaboration as a natural part of your work.
