Do you want to be part of the work to achieve more left-wing policies in Europe together with the Left Party's parliamentarians Jonas Sjöstedt and Hanna Gedin and a creative and professional office with ten employees? Then you are welcome to submit your application for an internship with us this fall!

As an intern with the Left Party's delegation, you will closely learn what legislative work in the European Parliament entails and thus also understand how the entire EU machinery operates. You will also have the opportunity to participate in all the work that the Left Party in the EU does to highlight and push through a system-changing green transition across Europe where polluters pay and ordinary people get better lives.

We are looking for you who are studying communication or journalism and want to contribute to ensuring that the Left Party's policies in the European Parliament have an impact and that our parliamentarians are seen and heard in Swedish homes and in the Swedish debate. This can involve everything from writing opinion articles, preparing talking points and materials, to creating videos for social media such as Instagram and TikTok. It is an advantage if you can take photos, edit videos, or have experience in producing texts. We work as a cohesive office, so you will also have the chance to assist in the entire office's work.

The internship lasts for up to 5 months, starting at an agreed date in September 2026. There may be an opportunity for an extension of four months. As an intern, you will receive compensation of 1,500 euros, and it is also possible to apply for an Erasmus scholarship for an internship through your university. Additionally, 300 euros is provided as compensation for travel to and from Sweden. The workplace is Brussels.
