About the role

Qronos is now seeking senior Java developers for technically advanced assignments in Malmö.

This is not a role for someone who "knows a bit of backend".

This is for you who understand how systems work – at a deep level.

We work in environments where requirements are high, pace is professional, and quality is non-negotiable.

What you will work with

• Backend development in Java

• Design and implementation of robust APIs

• Microservices architecture in production environments

• Event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent)

• Data modeling and work with SQL databases

• Version control and structured development workflows

You are expected to take responsibility for technical solutions, identify weaknesses, and improve existing systems. You should be able to deliver – not just participate.

Requirements – for real

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least 5 years of documented Java experience

• Have built and deployed microservices in production

• Have worked with Kafka or other event-based architecture

• Have deep understanding of REST, transactions, and data integrity

• Have good knowledge of SQL and database development

• Are comfortable in Git-based development environments

You most likely have a Master of Science or university degree in a relevant technical field.
