Our client is a leader in robust IT and technology solutions for demanding environments. As an IT Support Technician, you will be a key player in our Workplace team and ensure that our systems and the IT we use function optimally – every day.

You must be a Swedish citizen as the position is security classified.

You speak and write fluent Swedish and English and have a driver's license for a car, as business travel occurs.

About the Role

In the role of IT Support Technician, you will work on providing technical support to our employees and ensuring that the IT environment functions smoothly. You will handle both hardware and software, troubleshoot and solve problems, and contribute to the installation and maintenance of IT systems. You are an important point of contact for users and help them understand and use IT in the best way.

You will be involved in developing and improving our IT processes. The role involves both independent work and collaboration, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop within IT support.

Main Responsibilities

· Provide first-line support to users via phone, email, and on-site.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and networks.

· Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software.

· Perform routine maintenance and updates of IT equipment and systems.

· Document support cases, solutions, and IT inventories.

· Assist in setting up and deploying new IT equipment.

· Provide user support and training in IT according to best practices.

Your Profile

· At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.

· Good knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.

· Experience with Windows operating systems.

· Basic network knowledge and experience with network troubleshooting.

· A strong service mindset and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
