Description
Getnö is seeking an experienced and self-motivated head chef who wants to be part of our team! As head chef at Getnö Lake Åsnen Resort, you have a central and responsible role in our operations. You work independently in the kitchen and are responsible for cooking for conferences, events, and our summer restaurant Bistro Mat.
We prepare traditional Swedish food with a focus on Småland ingredients, locally grown from the Åsnen area and game. Nature is a major source of inspiration for us, the forest is our pantry.

Your tasks
In the role of head chef, you are responsible for, among other things:
- Independent planning and execution of cooking
- Cooking and operation of Bistro Mat during the summer season
- Menu planning with a focus on season, quality, and local ingredients
- Responsibility for order, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen
- Preparation of meals for conferences and events year-round (as needed)
- Collaboration with other colleagues within Team Getnö

Qualifications (requirements)
- Documented experience as a chef/head chef
- Ability to work independently in the kitchen
- Driver's license and access to own car
Meritorious
- Experience from conference, event, or restaurant kitchens
- Interest in game, local food, and sustainable cooking
- Experience from the tourism or hospitality industry
Facts about the position
Position: Head Chef
Employment type: Seasonal employment with the possibility of work as needed during other parts of the year
Period: May - June - July - August - September (- October, possibly Nov-Dec.)
Work as needed during the rest of the year
Scope: Full-time during the summer
Working hours: Varying - day, evening, and weekend
Salary: Fixed monthly salary or hourly wage as agreed
We follow collective agreements with VISITA/HRF for tourist facilities
Other: Staff accommodation is available during the summer season if needed
