Property Caretaker/Repairer for Summer Job 2026

Do you want to work practically and see the results of your work every day? During the period June-August, we at Sölvesborgshem need extra support and are now looking for a property caretaker/repairer for the summer period 2026.

Job Duties

As a property caretaker/repairer at Sölvesborgshem, you are an important part of daily life in our residential areas and one of the public faces of Sölvesborgshem. You work with service orders and fault reports, assist with repairs in apartments, and contribute to the ongoing maintenance and inspection of our properties. A large part of the job duties are handled in our digital property system, which means you need to be comfortable working digitally.

The workdays are varied, where you get to work with everything from simple repairs to ensuring that our common areas are always intact, clean, and pleasant. Daily tasks include, among others, fixing and replacing faucets, moldings, and handles, as well as repairing or replacing toilet seats, electrical outlets, light switches, and wardrobe shelves.

You work independently, are expected to take your own initiatives, and have the ability to see what needs to be done before someone asks for it.

We are looking for you who are practically inclined, enjoy active and physical work, and take responsibility for your assignment. You have a service-oriented approach, are attentive to deviations, and enjoy meeting people. With us, you get a varied summer job with daily contact with both tenants and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a high school education, preferably in construction, electrical, or plumbing technology. We prefer that you have knowledge or experience in property maintenance or similar. If you have a few years of experience from a service profession where interaction and responsibility have been important, we see that as a big plus.

For the position, you need to have a B driver's license.

The position is a special fixed-term employment during the period June 1–August 31 (or as agreed), with working hours scheduled for daytime, Monday–Friday.
