Caretaker/Quest Builder

We are looking for a person with many strings to their bow. In the winter, a builder and maintenance worker among our Quests at Boda Borg, and in the summer, the "good old" caretaker and "fixer" out at Säljö children's and youth camp.

The work at Boda Borg involves being responsible for maintenance and new construction of Quests, which includes carpentry, painting, wiring, and high-level technical work, as well as occasionally hosting our guests. The facility covers 2,500 square meters.

At Säljö, it involves both planning and carrying out daily upkeep and maintenance needs for buildings and boats. Goods transport as well as transport of colleagues and camp participants. Both on land and at sea.

Säljö Children's Camp is located on an island in the Karlskrona archipelago. A completely fantastic facility consisting of a dining hall building, three barracks for accommodation in dormitories, two houses with several "double rooms," two "small cabins," a caretaker's lodge, a shower and laundry house, a football field, a private beach, an adventure course, and more. The simplest way to explain it is that it feels like paradise! :-)

You are a very social person who easily makes new acquaintances. Consideration and empathy are two important words for you! You love "crazy" antics and have a tendency to let the corners of your mouth turn upward. You have planning ability and enjoy order and tidiness. Preferably experience or education in working with building technical issues, but also in work among children and youth. If you have sea experience, that is also a merit!
